PURINA ONE dog food launched in the US as the first grocery brand offering formulas to match the nutritional value of growing specialty diets.
PURINA ONE expanded to include cat food and a full line of life stage and lifestyle products for both cats and dogs.
Beginning as a 60-day challenge campaign, PURINA encouraged pet owners to see how PURINA ONE's science and nutrition deliver enhanced results for their pet. This was later reduced to 30 days in 2002, finally evolving to the 3 week or 28-day challenge today.
PURINA ONE launched across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and other parts of Asia.
PURINA ONE wet cat food was introduced in Europe to build on our range of pet food formulas. A year later, PURINA ONE Wholesome Entrees debuts as the brand's first line of canned dog foods.
